This week’s WIP is made using the yarn I showed on Monday in The Promise of May.
It’s another Corner to Corner project but it’s not a blanket (it’d ruin it if I told you what it was going to become!)
In order to get quick results I’ve used 2 strands of yarn together, this is 2 evenings of work so far. The pinky purple is just regular yarn and the other stripes are made with one strand of dk yarn and one of King Cole Galaxy. I was really lucky to be given 3 balls of this a while back and had no idea what to do with it.
If you look you can see the sequins adding a tiny bit of glitz!
It’s working up really fast and I’m hoping it’ll soon be finished so I can send it to it’s new home. I’m loving the purple colour scheme too-it’s a new one for me!
What are you making right now? I’d love to know. Feel free to include a link! 🙂
I love the colour scheme too. Whatever it will become, I think it will be fab!

I love King Cole Galaxy 😀 I used the white as the accent for my Christmas sweater a few years ago, the sequins were a perfect added touch 🙂
